We are pleased to announce the First Annual Egyptology Graduate Student Association Student Symposium. The Symposium will be held Saturday, April 19, 2008.
Lectures: 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Location: Mitchell Hall Auditorium (Room 200)
The University of Memphis Campus
This one-day symposium will consider a variety of topics related to the study of ancient Egypt, including art history, philology, society, religion, history, and archaeology. Graduate students in the University of Memphis history and art history departments will be presenting their current research in 20 minute lectures followed by 5 minutes for questions from the audience. The schedule of presentations is as follows:
